Zazzle Expands Headquarters Threefold to 119,730 SF within World Class Pacific Shores Center

Burlingame, California – November 8, 2011 - The listing team of Mike Moran, SIOR, Ben Paul, Michael Courson, and Mike Connor with leading commercial real estate firm Cassidy Turley have represented property owner Starwood Capital Group in the new lease of 119,730 square feet of Class A office space at the Pacific Shores Center in Redwood City. The tenant is Zazzle, Inc., the world’s leading platform for quality custom products, which signed a long-term lease agreement for the entire building located at 1800 Seaport Boulevard.

Zazzle will be relocating and expanding its operation threefold from approximately 36,750 square feet that it had been subleasing at an adjacent building within the Pacific Shores Center.  Their new headquarters at the 1800 building is currently occupied by Dreamworks SKG, which will simultaneously be relocating and expanding to a larger building within the project. Zazzle’s new headquarters is situated on the eastern edge of the project providing sweeping views across the Bay and beyond.

Zazzle is among several tenants that have recently penned deals at the sought after Pacific Shores Center, a campus which has seen its occupancy improve quickly over the last year.  The project has signed a slew of deals between 10,000 square feet to 120,000 square feet in the past 12 months, a combination of new, renewal, expansion and sublease transactions. In addition to Zazzle, these deals have consisted of major companies such as Ingenuity Systems (41,097 square feet—renewal/expansion), Wildfire Interactive, Inc. (34,210 square feet—new tenant), Seven Networks (31,934 square feet—renewal/sublease), Zenprise, Inc. (23,848 square feet—new tenant), and Sencha, Inc. (10,260 square feet—new tenant). The project has also added another roughly half dozen tenants below 10,000 square feet since last October.

Located on the shores of the San Francisco Bay, Pacific Shores Center is a world-class campus environment composed of 10 buildings totaling ±1.7 million square feet.
