Sale
Douglas E. Barnhart purchased 12,760 square feet of office space at 10803 Thornmint Road from Mission Federal Credit Union for $3.5 million. Brian Driscoll, SIOR, Rick Reeder and Brian Starck of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer’s representation was undisclosed.


Lease
Latham & Watkins, LLP leased 28,726 square feet of office space for three years, eight months at 12636 High Bluff Drive, Suite 300 and 400, from Arden Realty, Inc. for $3.3 million. Tony Russell, SIOR, Joe Anderson and Brooks Campbell of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Jerry Keeney of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee.


Moore Lewis Schulman & Moore leased 7,275 square feet of office space for nine years at 12636 High Bluff Drive, Suite 200 and 220, from Arden Realty, Inc. for $2 million. Tony Russell, SIOR. Joe Anderson and Brooks Campbell of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. The lessee’s representation was undisclosed.


Kahoots Feed & Pet Store leased 7,000 square feet of retail space for 10 years at 2616 El Camino Real, Bldg 16, in Carlsbad, from Hughes Investments for $1.4 million. Phil Lyons, CCIM, Bruce Schiff, CCIM, and Chad Iafrate, CCIM, of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Dave Hagglund of CB Richard Ellis represented the lessee.


Smash Bros La Jolla, LLC dba Smash Burger leased 2,370 square feet of retail space for 10 years at 1000 Prospect St., in La Jolla, from American Commercial Equities, LLC for $1 million. Danny Fitzgerald, Michael Burton and Robb Frye of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee in the transaction. David Maxwell and David Strauss of Cushman & Wakefield represented the lessor.


Pacific Dental Services, Inc. dba Pacific Dental leased 3,060 square feet of retail space for 10 years at 3737 Murphy Canyon Road, Suite C-2, from Aero Drive Three, LLC for $1 million. Mike Clark, Joe Yetter and Brent Williams of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Kevin Cassidy of Epsteen & Associates represented the lessee.

Pierre Deux leased 2,294 square feet of retail space for 10 years at 7643-7645 Girard Avenue, Suite C, in La Jolla, from Broadway & 9th c/o Trilogy Real Estate Management, Inc. for $945,036. Michael Slattery of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Brad Jones of CB Richard Ellis represented the lessee.

Shopzilla, Inc. leased 4,703 square feet of retail space for five years, five months at 1025 Prospect St,
Suite 300 and 310, in La Jolla, from Picoa, Inc. for $835,608. Michael Slattery and Bob Kuzman of
Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. David Marino of Irving Hughes
represented the lessee.

DressBarn leased 8,500 square feet of retail space for five years at 3347 Grand Avenue, Suite B-2, in
Corona, from Castle & Cooke for $595,000. Phil Lyons, CCIM, and Bruce Schiff, CCIM of Cassidy Turley
BRE Commercial and Mark Baziak of Grubb & Ellis Company represented the lessor in the transaction.
Annika Riphagan of Pacific Retail Partners represented the lessee.


Sol Pacific, LLC leased 1,087 square feet of office space for four years at 6336 Greenwich Drive, Suite B,
from Governor Park Partners, LLC for $96,934. Duncan Dodd, SIOR, of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial
represented the lessee in the transaction. The lessor’s representation was undisclosed.


Yoga Studio leased 1,500 square feet of retail space for three years at 2588 El Camino Real, Suite B-11,
in Carlsbad, from Hughes Investments for $84,374. Phil Lyons, CCIM, Bruce Schiff, CCIM, and Chad
Iafrate, CCIM, of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Mark Dudzik
of Lee & Associates represented the lessee.


Barber Shop leased 702 square feet of retail space for five years at 574 E. Mission Road, Suite D, in San
Marcos, from Capital Growth Properties for $35,779. Phil Lyons, CCIM, Bruce Schiff, CCIM, and Andrew
Peterson of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. The lessee’s
representation was undisclosed.
