Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial Selected as Exclusive Marketing Firm For The Property

Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial, San Diego’s market leader in commercial real estate services, today announced that the Thomas Jefferson School of Law will vacate its Old Town home of more than 15 years at the end of this year to move downtown.

The Interstate 5 campus, located at 2121 San Diego Avenue, was purchased in the spring of 2008 by PacVentures, Inc. The company then leased it back to the university for three years.

The three-building campus consists of a 45,000-square-foot three-story corporate headquarters building overlooking the freeway. Additional property features include an underground parking structure, a 20,000-square-foot atrium courtyard office building and an 8,000-square-foot office building, each on separate lots.

The three office buildings are currently being offered for lease or sale and will be completely refurbished inside and out, according to PacVentures’ president Andrew Kaplan. “This campus is one of the most recognizable in San Diego due to its freeway visibility, with more than 200,000 cars passing by on a daily basis. The buildings will attract high profile users benefiting from the freeway exposure and enjoying the spectacular views of the San Diego Bay and downtown. The property also has superb access to all of the amenities that Old Town offers,” added Kaplan.

PacVentures, Inc. has already received a large amount of interest in the property and expects to negotiate lease or sale agreements before the law school relocates.
