Joe Stettinius Named Most Admired CEO in Real Estate by Washington Business Journal

WASHINGTON, DC – Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., announced today that its Chief Executive Officer, Joe Stettinius, was named Most Admired CEO by Washington Business Journal in the real estate category for the DC Metro Region.  The Washington Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO awards event was held Thursday, December 5th at The Fairmont Hotel in Washington, DC.

The Washington Business Journal Most Admired CEO 2013 awards recognizes the top CEO’s in the DC Region based on a strong record of innovation, outstanding financial performance, commitment to quality, a strong vision of commitment to diversity in the workplace and contributions to Greater Washington. From August through September, the Washington Business Journal asked readers to vote for the region’s most admired CEO, and Mr. Stettinius was selected as a finalist for the real estate category.  When the Washington Business Journal opened a second round of voting to the public to choose the winners, he was chosen as the number one Most Admired CEO in the Real Estate Category.  Mr. Stettinius received votes from employees, clients and other voters in the industry.

Joe Stettinius provides leadership for 3,800 associates at Cassidy Turley. Before assuming the role as Cassidy Turley’s CEO, Joe served as Cassidy Turley’s President from 2008 through 2012, in which he oversaw all operations of Cassidy Turley’s various offices. Prior to joining Cassidy Turley, Joe served as a Senior Managing Director of CB Richard Ellis by virtue of its acquisition of Trammell Crow Company, where he was the Area Director for Trammell Crow’s Mid-Atlantic services business. He also served as Trammell Crow’s National Project Leasing Practice Leader in 2001. In addition, Joe was Regional Senior Vice President of Equity Office Properties Trust with responsibility for all of the company’s activities in Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia.

He is an active member of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington serving as a board member since 2013 and chair of the Boys & Girls Club Annual Youth in Real Estate Luncheon for the past two years.
