DALLAS – Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Dallas today announced that it has awarded its prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award (OAA) for 2011 to Diane Paddison, Chief Strategy Officer of Cassidy Turley, one of the nation’s leading commercial real estate services firms.
Paddison has been a recognized leader throughout her real estate career, previously serving as Chief Operating Officer of two Fortune 500 companies -- Trammell Crow Company and ProLogis. She is an independent director of Behringer Harvard’s Opportunity Fund II and Air Advice and active on The Salvation Army’s National Advisory Board. Paddison is also a trustee for Oregon State University Foundation and the Harvard Business School Christian Fellowship Alumni Association, founder of the non-profit organization 4word, and author of “Work, Love, Pray: Practical Wisdom for Young Professional Christian Women.” She is dedicated to helping young women learn from the best in commercial real estate, and as such, recently sponsored and served as an advisory board member of CREW’s national “Bridging the C-Suite Gap” mentoring program. Paddison’s professional affiliations include the Urban Land Institute, National Association of Corporate Directors, and Women Corporate Directors.

Ka Cotter, who is the 2010 OAA recipient and a founder of CREW Dallas and Vice Chair – Retired of The Staubach Co., presented Paddison with the 2011 award. Cotter also introduced the other four OAA finalists: Brenda Brantley, Chief Financial Officer, The LaSalle Group; Cindy Cohn, Chief Operating Officer, Parameter Realty Partners; Kennis Ketchum, President/Owner, Portfolio Development; and Leigh Richter, Senior Vice President, Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services.
Other CREW members honored at this year’s awards event included: Brenda Blake, B&J Financial Services, Most Valuable Player Award; Karen Hart, Bell Nunnally Martin, Outstanding New Member Award; Tanya Little, Hart Advisors Group, Career Advancement for Women – Individual; and Hudson Peters Commercial, Career Advancement for Women – Company.
