Civic View Corporate Centre in San Marcos Now 73 Percent Leased

SAN DIEGO – Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial, San Diego’s market leader in commercial real estate services, today announced that Civic View Corporate Centre in San Marcos is 73 percent leased including 47,644 square feet leased in the last 12 months.
 
Civic View Corporate Centre, developed by Newport National Corporation, is a 95,446-square-foot, four-story, Class A office building and is the first true office project built in San Marcos in more than eight years. Located at 300 Rancheros Drive along State Route 78, just east of the Twin Oaks Valley Road exit, Civic View Corporate Centre is the largest multi-tenant building along that stretch of highway.

Comparable to all of Newport National Corporation’s office developments, Civic View Corporate Centre features timeless architecture with mature, exotic landscaping, and was constructed utilizing the highest energy efficiency standards. Visually, the project is unlike any other with koi ponds at both entrances, a 75-foot tower on the exterior south entrance facing Highway 78, and a spectacular two-story atrium lobby featuring a waterfall from the second floor leading into a pond.

Newport National Corporation recently signed leases at Civic View Corporate Centre with the following tenants: Welk Resort Group, University of Phoenix, Raymond James Financial, Submarina, Inc., and Intersect Systems International. Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial’s Mark Avilla, Matty Sundberg and Bob Cowan represented Newport National Corporation in each transaction.

Welk Resort Group leased 14,196 square feet with the purpose of relocating its headquarters, which were previously located down the street from Civic View Corporate Centre. Shane Poppen with Hughes Marino represented Welk Resort Group in the transaction.

University of Phoenix relocated its campus to 27,265 square feet within Civic View Corporate Centre. Robert Chavez of Guardian represented University of Phoenix in the transaction.

Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. signed a lease for 2,490 square feet. Avilla, Sundberg and Cowan also represented Raymond James in this transaction.

Submarina, Inc. relocated their headquarters to 1,560 square feet at Civic View Corporate Centre. Avilla, Sundberg and Cowan also represented Submarina, Inc. in this transaction.

Intersect Systems International signed a lease for 2,133 square feet. The freight forwarding company relocated from Escondido. Rick Marcus of Lee & Associates represented Intersect Systems International in the transaction.

Civic View Corporate Centre is the last remaining office project in San Marcos that has shell space available. 10,764 square feet of shell space remains on the fourth floor that can cater to a larger tenant seeking a specific build-out. Highly visible building signage and monument signage for major tenants is available along State Route 78. Four move-in ready spec suites are available for immediate tenant requirements from 1,941 to 5,396 square feet.
