Cassidy Turley, one of Cincinnati’s largest local commercial real estate brokerage firms, will be sending four retail brokers to the premiere event for retail real estate professionals RECon, The Global Retail Real Estate Convention, May 22-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Brokers representing Cassidy Turley’s Cincinnati and Dayton offices at the convention include John Heekin, Mike Heekin and Andrew Sellet. Rob Taylor who focuses on retail investments will also attend. The Cincinnati team will join more than 100 brokers and professionals from other Cassidy Turley offices around the country.
While at the show, the brokers will promote University Square at the Loop a new retail, residential and office project that will break ground later this summer next to the University of Cincinnati's main urban campus. The project consists of 161 residential units that will be built over 80,300 square feet of restaurant and retail space, a 100 room hotel, 716 space parking garage, and 44,000 square feet of Class A office space.
“We currently have 12 letters of intent out for this project and are very close to some major tenant announcements. The amount of interest around this project has been intense,” said John Heekin a Senior Vice President with Cassidy Turley.
RECon is the premiere event for retail real estate professionals with nearly 30,000 attendees and one thousand exhibitors featuring unparalleled networking, negotiating, deal making, and educational opportunities, hosted by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
