NEW YORK – March 16, 2012 – Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., closed a long term lease agreement with Catalyst, Inc. for approximately 18,500 square feet in its existing building at 120 Wall Street. The space will serve as the global headquarters for the prominent leadership organization int he advancement of women in business.

A long-time occupant of 120 Wall Street, Catalyst encountered layout challenges in its existing space on the fifth floor and required a more efficient workspace and environment in which to operate. After a thorough search for an alternate site, Cassidy Turley recommended that the 15th floor of the building would provide Catalyst with the space, layout, and growth capacity it desired without undergoing the cost and disruption of a move to another property. The lower Manhattan area and 120 Wall Street specifically, are extremely desirable, affordable options for not-for-profit organizations and continue to offer favorable rental rates and terms.

Founded in 1962, Catalyst is the leading nonprofit membership organization whose mission it is to expand opportunities for women and business. With offices in the United States, Canada, Europe, and India, and more than 500 pre-eminent corporations as members, Catalyst is the trusted resource for research, information, advice about women at workand organizational strategies leading to success.  The organization’s global lens and regional reach provide members, the media, and the public with information and counsel on creating workplaces that enable women and their employers to succeed.

“I have had a 15 year relationship with Catalyst, beginning with their original lease on the fifth floor at 120 Wall Street in the late 1990’s, culminating with this latest transaction. Cassidy Turley has a corporate investment and commitment to the organization’s success,” said Harry Krausman, Managing Director,Principal at Cassidy Turley. “Like Catalyst, Cassidy Turley is dedicated to the advancement of women in business and sponsors the CREW Network Executive Level Mentoring Program.”
