SAN DIEGO (September 8, 2010) – Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial, San Diego’s market leader in commercial real estate services, today announced the following transactions:

Sales
Joseph A. Francisco and Jennifer A. White purchased a 1,810-square-foot office space at 5927 Balfour Court, Suite 109, in Carlsbad, from Escondido Management, LLC for $387,500. Mike Erwin, Barry Hendler and Justin Beattie of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented both the seller and the buyer in the transaction.

Leases
Chuze Fitness leased 18,000 square feet of retail space for 10 years, six months at 1233 Camino del Rio South from Mission Valley South, LTD for $2.6 million. Chad Iafrate of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee in the transaction. Ryan Rogers of Retail Insite represented the lessor.

Starbucks leased 1,652 square feet of retail space for 10 years at 2205 South Melrose Drive, Suite 101, in Vista, from TMACK, LLC for $735,470. Bruce Schiff, CCIM, Phil Lyons, CCIM, and Andrew Peterson of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Kevin Cassidy of Epsteen & Associates represented the lessee.

Cricket Communications leased 2,688 square feet of retail space for five years at 645 H Street, Suites E and F, in Chula Vista, from CLV Properties, LLC for $399,588. Randee Stratton of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee in the transaction. The lessor’s representation was not disclosed.
 
Siberian Health leased 917 square feet of retail space for five years at 8915 Towne Center Drive, Suite 116, from GDA Real Estate Services, LLC for $189,870. Bruce Schiff, CCIM and Phil Lyons, CCIM, of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Lauren Matricardi of CB Richard Ellis represented the lessee.

Zhifeng Yu and Jun Deng leased 1,500 square feet of retail space for three years at 557 Telegraph Canyon Road, in Chula Vista, from Canyon Gateway, LLC c/o Gateway Property Management for $158,522. Joe Yetter, Mike Clark and Brent Williams of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented both the lessor and the lessee in the transaction.

King Stationers leased 1,196 square feet of retail space for five years at 631 South Melrose Drive, Suite 107, in Vista, from DeBartolo Development for $115,246. Phil Lyons, CCIM, Chad Iafrate, CCIM, and Andrew Peterson of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented both the lessor and the lessee in the transaction.

Maple Hill Investments dba SportClips leased 1,000 square feet of retail space for three years at 6445 Pats Ranch Road, Suite C, in Mira Loma, from Hoprock Limonite, LLC c/o Vestar Property Management for $59,500. Randee Stratton of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee in the transaction. Bryan Cunningham of Cushman & Wakefield represented the lessor.

Jewels on 5th, LLC leased 595 square feet of retail space for three years, one month at 3975 5th Avenue, Suite 130, from Spectrum Properties for $54,281. Duncan Dodd, SIOR, and Phil Linton of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented both the lessor and the lessee in the transaction.

Rancho Santa Fe Youth Soccer leased 1,200 square feet of office space for three years at 616 Stevens Avenue, Suite M, in Solana Beach, from Freling E. Baker and Natalie Jensen Trust for $45,540. Tom van Betten, Andrew Sexton and Chris Banke of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee in the transaction. Dave Sondag of DAS Property Management represented the lessor.

Emeritus Corporation leased 1,456 square feet of office space for 12 months at 12520 High Bluff Drive, Suite 250, from Plaza Del Mar Holdings, Inc. for $41,059. Bill Cavanagh of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee in the transaction. Chris High of Cushman & Wakefield represented the lessor in the transaction.
