SAN DIEGO (May 19, 2010) – Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial, San Diego’s market leader in commercial real estate services, today announced the following transactions:

Sale
Pedroza Apartments, LP purchased 5,833 square feet of retail space at 6557-6563 El Cajon Blvd. from Frasca for $650,000. Chris Rink, CCIM, of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the buyer in the transaction. Joel Wilson of CB Richard Ellis represented the seller.

Lease
Big Lots leased 33,338 square feet of retail space for seven years, three months at 333 North El Camino Real, in Encinitas, from Encinitas PFA, LLC for $3.2 million. Phil Lyons, CCIM, and Bruce Schiff, CCIM, of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Matt Moser of Retail Insite represented the lessee.

The Furniture Warehouse, Inc. leased 16,300 square feet of retail space for five years at 1109 West Valley Parkway, in Escondido, from La Entrada Associates for $948,717. Phil Lyons, CCIM, Bruce Schiff, CCIM, and Chad Iafrate, CCIM, of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Scott Duhs of Duhs Commercial represented the lessee.

Italianissimo leased 2,300 square feet of retail space for five years at 323 Third Avenue, in Chula Vista, from Juan Guillen for $381,360. Miguel Ma of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee in the transaction. The lessor’s representation was not disclosed.
 
Magic Touch Reflexology Center leased 1,196 square feet of retail space for five years at 7180-7188 Avenida Encinas, Suite 102, in Carlsbad, from Oberlin Partners, LLC for $242,835. Phil Lyons, CCIM, and Bruce Schiff, CCIM, of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Jeff Brown of Cushman & Wakefield represented the lessee.

Howard Gad, Joseph Carmellino and Mark McLaren leased 3,782 square feet of office space for three years, three months at 505 Lomas Santa Fe Drive, Suite 130, in Solana Beach, from Beckman Properties, Inc. for $195,193. Joe Anderson and Stacy Looney of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. The lessee’s representation was not disclosed.
 
Cricket Wireless leased 960 square feet of retail space for five years, three months at 9828 North Magnolia Avenue, Suite A, in Santee, from Redwood Santana, LLC for $86,693. Mike Clark, Joe Yetter and Brent Williams of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Joel Forral of Teamwork Property Management represented the lessee.

Benchmark Financial Group, Inc. leased 873 square feet of office space for two years at 511-543 Encinitas Blvd., Suite 535-108, in Encinitas, from Quynh Dao for $52,004. Stacy Looney of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee in the transaction. Kenneth Snyker of Lincoln Realty Associates represented the lessor.
