SAN DIEGO (August 30, 2010) – Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial, San Diego’s market leader in commercial real estate services, today announced the following transactions:

Sales
Marco Vargas purchased a 3,477-square-foot retail space at 36 Broadway, in Chula Vista, from Mark E. Walsh for $537,000. Miguel Ma of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer’s representation was not disclosed.

Benamel Development, Inc. purchased a 2,521-square-foot, three-unit property consisting of a two-bedroom and rear duplex with a two-bedroom and one-bedroom apartment at 753 Park Place, in Escondido, from Bank of America N.A. for $245,000. Ray Adams of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the buyer in the transaction. Jan Ryan of ReMax Direct represented the seller.

Leases
Francesca’s Restaurants leased 5,000 square feet of retail space for 10 years at 1655 India Street from Julius and Marietta Zolezzi Trust for $1.9 million. Brian Jinings of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. The lessee’s representation was not disclosed.

EcoATM leased 9,426 square feet of office space for five years at 10515 Vista Sorrento Parkway, Suite 100, from Wateridge Industrial Partnership for $910,586. Bill Cavanagh of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Dave Marino of Irving Hughes represented the lessee.

Mainstreet Communications leased 3,892 square feet of office space for five years at 565 Pearl Street, Suite 300, in La Jolla, from Pearl Plaza, LLC for $350,403. Mike Slattery and Bob Kuzman of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee in the transaction. The lessor’s representation was not disclosed.
 
Mainstreet Communications leased 2,440 square feet of office space for five years at 3702 Via de la Valle, Suite 202W, in Solana Beach, from Plaza Properties for $333,774. Mike Slattery and Bob Kuzman of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee in the transaction. Dick Balestri of CB Richard Ellis represented the lessor.

Christopher N. Spellman, M.D. leased 1,615 square feet of office space for six years at 169 Saxony Road, Suite 115, in Encinitas, from Saxony Equities, LP for $276,972. Peter Curry, Matt Campbell and Ryan Grant of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Aric Starck of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessee.

Allegiant Professional Business Services leased 4,271 square feet of office space for two years, nine months at 11838 Bernardo Plaza Court, Suites 210, 220 and 250, from 11818-11858 Bernardo Plaza Court for $205,371. Chris Hobson and Bob Kuzman of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor in the transaction. Tyler Gossett of CB Richard Ellis represented the lessee.

Duy Dang dba Diva Nails leased 1,468 square feet of retail space for five years, four months at 1090 Third Avenue, Suite 3, in Chula Vista, from The Cardone Group for $150,996. Joe Yetter, Mike Clark and Brent Williams of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented both the lessor and the lessee in the transaction.

Communications Gamar leased 900 square feet of retail space for two years, three months at 4370 Palm Avenue, Suite K, from Palm Ridge Gateway LLC c/o Gateway Property Management, LLC for $39,906. Joe Yetter, Mike Clark and Brent Williams of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented both the lessor and the lessee in the transaction.
