Berkeley Research Group Leases 58,000 SF at 1800 M Street

WASHINGTON, DC - Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., announced today that Berkeley Research Group has leased 58,602 square feet at 1800 M Street, NW, located in the Central Business District submarket of Washington, DC. The 11-year lease term will commence July 2014.

The Cassidy Turley Leasing Team of Bobby Schwartz, Eli Barnes and James Collins represented Prudential Real Estate Investors, which owns the building on behalf of institutional investors. Berkeley Research Group, a global consulting firm based in Emeryville, CA, was represented by David Houck and Sam Swan of Jones Lang LaSalle.

“PREI’s® repositioning of 1800 M Street has set a high standard for office space in the Central Business District submarket,” said Mr. Barnes. “The recent renovations have attracted premier tenants like Berkeley Research Group to the building due to the exceptional upgrades, on-site amenities and prime business location.”

The 10-story, 585,000-square-foot, Class A office building was originally constructed in 1975 and recently underwent substantial, premium-quality renovations to its HVAC system, lobbies, fitness center, roof top terrace, elevators, restrooms and common areas. 

Berkeley Research Group will move from its current location at 1919 M Street, NW.
