TEANECK, N.J. (AUGUST 4, 2010) - Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., announced today the addition of Alex Previdi as vice president to its Teaneck, New Jersey office. In this role, Previdi, who specializes in industrial sales, leasing and marketing with a concentration on the Northern New Jersey market, will be responsible for the acquisition and disposition of properties for corporate, institutional, and private companies on a local and national basis.

Prior to joining Cassidy Turley, Previdi worked at Jones Lang LaSalle ("JLL"), which purchased Lee & Klatskin Associates approximately three years ago. While at Lee & Klatskin Associates, Previdi was awarded the Deal of the Year in 2006 for the representation of Respironics at 5 Wood Hollow Drive in Parsippany, N.J. In addition, Previdi participated in a number of Lee & Klatskin Associates' most successful leases and dispositions, including 55 Madison Circle, East Rutherford; 17 Stewart Place, Fairfield; 120 North Street in Teterboro; and 1305 McCarter Highway in Newark. Previdi has also completed numerous transactions on behalf of prestigious clients in the Northern New Jersey market, including AMB Properties, Classic Packers and Shippers, Respironics New Jersey, Printers Bindery, Brockwell and Carrington Construction, Schiffenhaus Realty LLC, and Mead Westvaco.

Before his experience at Lee & Klatskin Associates, Previdi spent ten years working for the state government, serving most recently as the Business Administrator for the Borough of Sayreville, where he acted as Chief Staff to the Mayor and was responsible for all day-to-day operations for the borough including managing over 200 employees, directing the preparation of $36 million dollar municipal budget and serving as liaison to the Sayreville Economic Redevelopment Authority. In addition to his municipal experience, Previdi served as Policy Advisor for Acting Governor Donald DiFrancesco and was also the Director of Policy for Assembly Majority Leader Paul DiGaetano. He also served in the Intergovernmental Affairs Office for Governor Christine Todd Whitman and was also a Legislative Liaison and Economic Development Specialist for Mercer County Executive Robert Prunetti.
Currently, Previdi serves on the Drew University Board of Visitors and has also served on the Montclair Economic Development Corporation, Township of Montclair Real Estate Facilities Committee, and the Montclair Loins Club.
Previdi earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Drew University in Madison, N.J.
